Yesterday’s gymn grand fun. Mother ill again, must have eaten something. Don’t very much want to see our dear friend Vin. but seems must on account of recipe needing a signature.

First condoling phone today on account of Vin. by Cica. She was most surprised. Well, well. Promised to go to see her but went to gymn as missed last weeks too and Saturday’s is off also. Result rather stiff limbs and a good ache above the knees afterwards.

Tried to speak with Leon today before going to gymn. Our talk had to have an abrupt ending.

Late again for gymn. Dressmaker the innocent came of it. Found out that Emma is to have a baby. That is why she takes gymn so easy lately. Noticed since a time that she looks sort of bewildered and helpless. Much younger. Was asked to a party by dear brother for tomorrow.

What a day. In the morning Leon rang me up and we made an appointment for the evening. Early in the afternoon he rang me up again at least one of the staff in his office did the actual ringing, seems in such cases he is not so shy of phoning, and told me in highly shocked way that he couldn’t come…
